With over 19 years of extensive experience Mr. S.S. Ahluwalia advises and represents clients on a wide variety of matters in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Tribunals and Appellate authorities including Arbitration Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunal and Prevention of Money Laundering Appellate Tribunal.

He represents various statutory, psus and private limited companies such as nhpc, ifci, sidbi, punjab national bank, north east electric power corporation, prudent ARC, cfm-asset reconstruction co., accenture etc. Before various courts. He has represented his clients- in the disputes of more than sum of rs. 200 crores; in the arbitration dispute worth of rs. 650crores; in the suit for damages worth rs. 1000 crores; and many more. He represents and advises, infrastructure companies in contractual disputes (like fidics and general contracts), infrastructure financial institutions, on various legal issues before arbitration tribunal and courts. He has been handling the cases under prevention of money laundering act; prevention of corruption act; indian penal code; employment, recovery laws etc. He is advising world bank on contractual and corporate commercial issues pertaining to indian jurisdiction. He had advised nsdc on the facility contracts and other ancillary laws based on the projects.

He is being appointed as amicus curae by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in the civil and criminal cases. He is Standing Counsel for Delhi High Court Services Legal Aid Committee. He had successfully handled the litigation for money recovery internationally for multi-national company. He is handling noted money laundering disputes before Money Laundering Tribunal. He has the immense experience in legal drafting such claims, counter-claims statement of defence, appeals, writs, suits, complaints, etc and has 50 judgments reported as on date. Some of his reported judgments are DSGMC vs. Govt. of NCT & Ors., IFCI vs. Ceclyon Biscuits Ltd., GHPS vs. Govt. of Delhi & Ors.; State vs. Nandji Parasd; Arjun & Ors.vs. State and many more have been added to his credentials that were passed by the Hon’ble High Court

He started his career with Jyoti Sagar & Associates (JSA). During his initial 3 years at the Firm, he has handled numerous corporate and capital market transactions including advisory on Company Law, Land Laws, and FEMA. He has also worked briefly with A&A Law Office before setting up his Chamber practice – Chambers of SSAhluwalia.
